thought i would have a play and use my tripod for the first time, just a messing about session really trying different settings, not much in the way of worde ill let the photos do the talking and you lot do the comments lol

my daughters valentine flowers


my little torch gives a circle of light completely hopeless when looking for something in the dark but a kool touch on these shots, the round beam of light

the inner shadow


put the torch under the flowers

natural

i quite liked this effect

this is the one rose from me to the wife lol

few drops of water

on the granite





i liked this one

again the torch touched the rose

poinsette if thats how you spell it



and my new S4000 camera that took all the above photos, i took these last few with my old S5700

Good macros. I like the lighting set up. A torch makes a great directional light source. I liked the effect on the third photograph.

I Love flowers! Some really lovely shots my favorites were the rose with the water drops and the rose with the torch. Well done great blog!.

nice selection you will have to try some with mirror behind. i see you used 5700 last pics. thats what i use all the time cost me £34.

Blinky the s5700 is a great camera only reason I had the new one is I wanted a different range with the settings, as it's my old camera I take it to work with me, well you never know what your going to see whilst on the road all day lol, thanks for the comment
