Out and about in January and Febuary
Just a collection of photo's, as seen through my eyes, taken on my daily walks.
Having a play here with Picnic Premium before it gets dumped. Panography.
Trying out the black and white conversion. tweaked with gritty.
Thrown in a bit of Ortonish
This one had the works.
These icecles caught my eye.
Days are getting longer, I was actually up before the sun here.
I just cannot do a blog without a liitle clutter of piccies.
This was a M E entry, looked weird in my gallery so deleted it. I do like stretch photo's.
The rose hips are clinging on.
I don't know wether this is a early rose or a late one, it was really frozen solid.
Ah! signs of spring.
Coots are a cooting.
Did I mention spring, Febuary brought some seriously low tempretures.
A good time to try and get some shots of the Dabchick thats been alluding me for at least a couple of years.

Whats this? him out of the water?
He, scuttled up the bywash, I said, what long legs youv'e got, hang on a minute, where did you come from?.... A Water Rail. Well I never.
Hmmm! whats going on here. Not canine capers?
Keep half an eye out for them dogs, while I have a snooze
You won't catch me napping.
Just try it, and you will be sorry.
At last, the thaw.
Lambs tails
The vegetation is sending out earthy smells, spring is in the air, or is it wishfull thinking.
All the paths I take lead back to the canal.
Fungi are not funny.
These are some of my favourite things.
And these, they look quite bereft, cos I tied them up, well, the wildlife has got to have some peace and quiet.
Checking me out for food tidbits, a cheeky Robin.
Heading home I spotted these weird shapes, the tree, the tree.
Not much happening in the garden.
Melting ice on leaf
And a little bit of colour.
Thats another day done, and where shall we go tomorrow, hopefully it will be a nice sunny day.

Lovely work Dee, a super dooper set of shots, well put together too.
My Fave shot is the Swan stood on the Ice. I think the lighting is spot on with thatone. The rest are good of course but that one me just stood out.
